I don't have the physical unit for testing but need to know the possible inputs for "/select" command for the SA-5.

The API reference shows an example for AUX but the SA-5 has 3 AUX inputs. Not sure if "AUX_1", "AUX 1", "AUX1, etc." are acceptable.

Hi there,

The sources available are best derived programmatically via the /sources command, as that will ensure the precise terms the product is expecting are used. I believe the documentation for /select and /sources in the API reference should have all the information necessary for putting this together, but please do reach out with specific questions if you have them, or if this does not work for you for some reason!

Thanks, Zach

I don't have a physical unit available for testing. I am creating a driver to work with our system. I have no way to send /sources to get the desired name from the unit. I am asking so that someone may be able to provide the exact names needed for AUX 1, 2 and 3. The API reference does not provide the exact names for these inputs.

Hi Savant,

Apologies for misunderstanding the situation with my first reply. I can provide the values for this, but I want to be upfront that we cannot guarantee that this will work in the long term. To be clear, we have no plans to change how this works, but if for some reason it needed to change in the future, hardcoding the values would be more likely to lead to a breaking integration, whereas dynamically populating from /sources would be less likely to see that type of impact.

With that said, the ContentItems you'll want to use are:

<ContentItem source="AUX" sourceAccount="AUX1"></ContentItem>
<ContentItem source="AUX" sourceAccount="AUX2"></ContentItem>
<ContentItem source="AUX" sourceAccount="AUX3"></ContentItem>

THANKS!!!
